Samsung Electronics and Naver Cloud have joined forces to provide private 5G network services for Hoban Construction, the first construction-related private 5G network in South Korea. The collaboration aims to leverage the benefits of 5G technology to enhance construction site efficiency and safety. The network will enable advanced capabilities such as drone-based high-resolution monitoring, IoT concrete strength sensors, construction site management solutions, smart safety jackets, and real-time CCTV video monitoring. By leveraging the high-speed and low-latency features of 5G, the private network is expected to improve productivity and safety in construction operations.
