In the initial trial in 2020, Ice Mobility installed high-definition cameras that connected to their 5G MEC network across its pick lines to match the desired merchandise with the package for orders. Going forward, it will do real-time management accounting with costs allocation according to warehouse activity levels, customer accounts, and packing lines.
