MWC 2026 is Calling and so is ‘The IQ Era’

It’s almost that time of the year again – the time when thousands of us in the wireless and connectivity industry start rearranging our schedules, booking overpriced hotel rooms, and dusting off our walking shoes for what is, without a doubt, the most important gathering in our industry: Mobile World Congress Barcelona.

This year, MWC 2026 takes place from March 2–5 at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, and the theme – “The IQ Era” – couldn’t be more fitting. We are living through a defining convergence of artificial intelligence and connectivity, and nowhere will that be more visible than on the floors of Fira Gran Via. From intelligent networks and private 5G to AI-driven enterprise transformation, the conversations at MWC this year will shape the next decade of our industry.

I’ve been attending MWC for many years now, and I can honestly say the excitement never gets old. Whether it’s running into an old colleague in the cafeteria line or sitting in on a keynote that completely reframes how you think about a problem, MWC has a way of reminding you why you got into this industry in the first place.

What I’ll Be Focused on at MWC 2026

This year, I am particularly excited about the conversations forming around Intelligent Infrastructure – specifically the evolution of programmable networks, 5G-Advanced, and how AI is beginning to reshape the way enterprises think about connectivity. The ConnectAI and AI 4 Enterprise themes on the agenda align closely with what we’ve been tracking and writing about at PrivateLTEand5G.com, and I expect some genuinely compelling announcements and demos from vendors, operators, and system integrators across the show floor.

MWC 2026 is also special because it marks the 20th anniversary of the event’s partnership with Barcelona – a milestone worth celebrating. If there’s ever a year to be in the room, it’s this one.

Let’s Meet in Barcelona

Whether you are a technology vendor, a communication service provider, a system integrator, an enterprise exploring connectivity transformation strategies, or simply someone who wants to talk about the state of the industry, I would love to connect with you in person.

I have a limited number of meeting slots available, and I’d like to fill them with meaningful conversations: about market trends, go-to-market strategies, how to position and differentiate your enterprise wireless offerings, and how KAIROS Pulse and platforms like PrivateLTEand5G can help you tell your story to the right audience.

If any of the following describes you, let’s find time to meet:

  • You’re a technology or solution provider looking to accelerate the adoption of your connectivity, communication, and AI products or services among enterprises, system integrators, or managed service providers
  • You’re an enterprise or end user exploring emerging wireless solutions (Private 5G, NTN, Wi-Fi7, RedCap, etc.), and want an unbiased perspective on the ecosystem
  • You have an exciting success story or market perspective you’d like us to share with the community of enterprise leaders and SIs
  • You just want to reconnect over coffee and talk shop – I’m always up for that

Schedule Your Meeting Now

Calendars fill up fast at MWC – don’t wait until you’re on the show floor trying to find 30 minutes in someone’s schedule. Use the link below to book a dedicated time with me.

If we can’t find a common time to meet at MWC, let’s connect after. Use my regular calendar link below to book a time for a 1:1 30-minute strategy session:

MWC is always a whirlwind – four days that somehow feel like both a sprint and a marathon. But it’s also one of the best opportunities of the year to learn, connect, and push the industry conversation forward. I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces, making new connections, and soaking up everything “The IQ Era” has to offer.

And if you’ve never taken a couple of extra days to explore the city itself – Gaudí’s masterpieces, the energy of La Rambla in the evening, the food – I strongly encourage it. Barcelona has a way of making even the most exhausted trade show attendee feel alive again.

See you soon!
