Comcast and Celona have teamed up on a private 4G/5G network at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in California. The Sonoma County Fair is an annual summer festival with a variety of family entertainment. The Fairground host other events throughout the year but have suffered from what has been described as a “poor vendor and customer experience” due to weak connectivity. The new network will provide improved coverage and capacity, improving employee connectivity for applications such as point of sale systems and concessions, as well as enhancing the customer experience.
