Rugby Broadcast Uses Private 5G to Broaden Camera Placement

Vertical: Sports

Application: Broadcasting

Ecosystem:  BT

Private Network: 5G

At a recent rugby match in the UK, BT Media and Broadcast connected cameras using a private 5G network, rather than using RF signals, as is common now. Using wireless cameras rather than wired technology allowed BT to use cameras in new locations, letting BT gain new angles on the action and making the viewing experience more enjoyable.
