Puerto Bahia, a port located in Colombia, has collaborated with Claro, a telecommunications company, to implement the first private industrial-grade LTE network for a port in the country. The new network is expected to improve communications and operations in the port, enabling the automation of various processes and increasing the efficiency of the port’s operations. The network will provide secure, high-speed connectivity to devices and sensors located in the port, facilitating the real-time monitoring of cargo and equipment.
