The Ocean Cleanup, a nonprofit environmental organization, is deploying a private LTE network to help with its mission to remove plastic pollution from oceans. With the help of Nokia and MCS (Nokia’s partner for Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) distribution in the Benelux), the North Pacific network will offer enhanced communications and analytics, using edge computing, drones, AI, and other technologies.
