 Nokia has emerged victorious in securing a pivotal agreement for 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure in the CBRS spectrum with Charter Communications. This partnership represents a significant milestone for both Nokia and Charter, as it grants Nokia the opportunity to leverage its advanced technological solutions to deliver cutting-edge 5G equipment for Charter’s wireless network. Charter will use the new infrastructure, including strand-mounted radios and a new strand-mounted small cell, to offload traffic from its mobile network.
