Naver Cloud Focuses on Local 5G Networks

Naver Cloud of South Korea has become the first company to “provide a telecom service using a private 5G network.” The aim is to provide local service to enterprises in limited areas. An initial undertaking is with Naver Labs to operate ‘brainless’ robots, in which much of the hardware and software can be removed from robots, lowering production costs and battery usage. Other applications will include autonomous driving and digital twins.
