Sacramento City Unified School District Using CBRS to Go Private

The Sacramento City Unified School District will be the first of 14 districts in California to use CBRS to help more of their students get online. The Leataata Floyd Elementary School and nearby residential housing will deploy a private LTE network with the help of Intel and Federated Wireless. “Prasad Rampalli, advisor at the California Emerging Technology Fund, commented ‘Lack of internet access, arguably the biggest hurdle we faced shifting to distance learning, must be addressed to ensure equal access to content and tasks for our students.'”
